The K-101 is a mechanical MOD that has a telescopic feature. This piece is one of several that screws together to make up the body of the K-101. Once connected, the pieces can be screwed tighter or loosened to make the body longer or shorter, allowing you to choose which size battery you would like to use with your MOD. This is what gives it the telescopic function.
